The WatchList identifies North American bird species that need our help.

WatchList species are those faced with population decline, limited geographic range, and/or threats such as loss of breeding habitat and wintering grounds.

WatchLists are early warning systems that focuses attention on at-risk bird species before they become endangered.
The WatchLists is compiled and maintained by Partners in Flight, a coalition of state, federal, and private sector conservationists working together to protect the birds of the western hemisphere.
